
2010-11 Minor Atom - Mark McLlwain to Coach the 2001 Birth Year Minor Atoms
The Huron-Perth Lakers are pleased to announce that Mark McLlwain of Exeter has been appointed Head Coach of the 2010-11 Lakers AAA Minor Atom team (the 2001 birth year).
Mark has a life long interest in hockey with 40 years of experience.
A former Junior player and product of Seaforth Minor Hockey, Mark has gone on to build considerable coaching experience. He has coached Minor Hockey for 12 years, including coaching Novice teams to three Regional Silver Stick Tournament titles before they advanced to the International Silver Stick Tournaments.
Mark still plays hockey and enjoys his passion and spirit for the game - something he'll bring to this coaching position. He's confident his knowledge and expertise combined with an every day commitment to excel will help this Minor Atom team achieve maximum performance. As the season progresses he plans to be a creator and builder of each player and watch his team improve, develop, and grow as champion individuals and learn life skills from the game of hockey.
