Major Peewees Win The Niagara New York Tourney
The Lakers Major Peewees competed in the Niagara NY Jr, Purple Eagles Invitational Tournament this past weekend where they would bring home all the hardware! A much needed break from league play and trying to find some offensive confidence is exactly what this team set out to do!  

Even though their was only 4 teams in the Major Peewee division the team dug deeper each game to win 4 straight . 
The first game of the weekend would see the Amherst Knights take a 2 - 0 lead . Kaden Hoggarth would get the team on the board assisted by Connor Aarts . Aly Mcleod would tie the game from Mitch LaFay , and then the 3rd goal and the game winner was scored by Mitch LaFay  . The Team finally got a couple bounces to go their way for a change.
Game 2 against Niagara Jr Purple would see the team get over the 3 goal hump with a 5 - 1 victory . Coleson Fischer scoring the 1st goal from Blake Wideman , then Nolan Gagnier scoring the 2nd goal from Sheldon Pryce  and Payton Kerr . Aly Mcleod with the 3rd goal assisted by Coleson Fischer , then Kaden Hoggarth scoring the last 2 goals assisted by Tate Gaylor , Payton Kerr and Blake Wideman to seal the 5 - 1 victory .
The 3rd game would see the Lakers battle against the Buffalo Saints . In A hard fought battle Nolan Gagnier would score the first Laker goal assisted by Kaden Hoggarth and Payton Kerr . The Saints tied the game but with :48 seconds left in the match Aly Mcleod would score the 2 - 1 game winner from Sheldon Pryce and Connor Aarts .
The final game would see a rematch between the Lakers and the Saints . This time though the team would come out flying and control the whole match winning the championship 4 - 0 . Kaden Hoggarth started the scoring with a blast going top shelf assisted by Tate Gaylor and Connor Aarts . Eric Roes would score the next goal from Sheldon Pryce . Cal Ferguson scoring the 3rd goal from Mitch LaFay and Coleson Fischer . Capping off the weekend with the 4th goal was Nolan Gagnier from Sheldon Pryce . Great consistent efforts on the defence as well by Jack Robinson and Kayden Schooley , and in the net by Hardy Westman and Carter Roth only allowing 4 goals all weekend .
