Regular Season Champs Crowned - Playoff Matchups Set
Submitted By Steve McIver on Wednesday, February 17, 2010
Surprises & upsets are in the cards now as Peewee AAA teams across the Province begin the quest to be crowned Champions and earn the opportunity to compete in this year's All Ontario Peewee AAA Championship hosted by the Huron Perth Lakers.

London Jr Knights Gold won the Alliance West Division Regular Season title, with the Kitchener Jr Rangers winning the East. In Quarter Final play however, London was stunned by the dark horse Sun County Panthers, eliminating the powerful Knights in Quarter Final play 3 games to 1. Kitchener is holding their own, sweeping their Quarter Final over Hamilton 3-0 & will now meet Sun County in the Semi. Elgin Middlesex Chiefs & Waterloo Wolves are paired up in the other Semi.

In the GTHL, the top ranked Toronto Marlies easily won the Regular Season title with a record of 31-0-2 and will faceoff against the Mississauga Rebels in their Semi Final Series. The 2nd Place Vaughan Kings are in a holding pattern while they patiently wait the winner between the Toronto Young Nats & Toronto Titans before they start the other Semi.

Kanata Blazers held off Gloucester to capture the ODMHA Regular Season with a record of 17-1-10 but are currently trailing Cumberland 1-0 in their Quarter Final Series.

Up north, Nickel City Sons captures the NOHA Regular Season with a record of 26-4-2 & await the Playoff schedule.

The OMHA has yet to complete the Regular Season, but as of Feb 17th, Whitby Wildcats control the ETA with a record of 26-5-5 & Oakville Rangers have all but assured themselves the Regular Season with an impressive record of 30-1-1.
