International Silver Stick Champions!
The Huron Perth Lakers U16's are International Silver Stick Champions!The Huron Perth Lakers U16 team attended the International Silver Stick Finals in Whitby, ON November 28 - December 1. The team came out of round robin play 1st in their division over Niagara North Stars, Toronto Marlboros, Buffalo Junior Sabres and Quinte Red Devils.
Quarter final play had the Lakers matched up with Vaughan Kings which ended in a 3 - 1 win for Huron Perth.
The Semi-final game was a battle against the Toronto Junior Canadiens. Huron Perth came out with a 2 - 1 Victory.
The Championship game against Toronto Red Wings ended in a 3 - 2 Overtime win for the Lakers.
