Minor Atom Lakers on Record Setting Pace!
The last few years of Minor Atom teams have done progressively better than the previous years team and this years team is no exception! With a 10-4-1 league record to date, and second overall in the standings this years minor atom squad is poised to be the strongest group we have ever fielded in the inaugural season.

Coach Jack Chaffe is reaping the rewards of his previous efforts this year. Jack has championed the 97 group for several years working hard on development and providing opportunities for this age group through 3 on 3 and season play. The Lakers was a natural step for Jack,  and Jack was a great find for the Lakers. A perfect symbiotic relationship was born. The Lakers provide an environment where the best level of competition exists and a tremendous amount of ice time is provided, add a knowledgeable, committed, motivating coach and the zone's top athletes and you achieve a balanced high performance program that maximizes the potential within each athlete in the team environment. When the Laker teams get the best players from the zone, they can compete with anyone and the earlier they get the top athletes the better for the program in the long term. The 97 group appears to have a very bright future! Congratulations and keep up the good work Jack, staff and team!
