Laker MP's Aim To Get Back On Track In Lindsay
After poor efforts against London (7-0 loss) and Waterloo (5-1 loss) the Huron Perth Lakers Minor Peewee squad hopes to sort their game out this weekend as they take the ice in the Annual Central Ontario Wolves Cup Classic.

Back to back unspirited efforts will be very motivating for the MP squad. Both contests lacked the determined play that has become the hallmark of this balanced squad. The Wolves tournament will provide the perfect environment to hone their game as only two regular season contests remain and they will face solid competition throughout.

The Lakers will be attacking with vigor, having not had the opportunity to advance in two tournaments this year after going 3-0-1 in round robin has driven home the need for excellence every game.

To date the MP squad is 35-11-6,  earning a 76% win percentage in their first 52 games with 208 goals for and 115 against for an average of 4 goals for/game and 2.2 against.
The MP squad has had terrific success this year but after their last two efforts they are very aware that their hard work all year long has been to peak at this time of the year. Patting themselves on the back will have to wait for the off-season.
