The Bounces, The Bounces, The Bounces
Game three ended in a 3-0 London win, however the score does not tell the story of just how close these two teams and this series has been.

The Lakers travelled to London for an 8:30 game Wednesday night at the Medway arena. Despite the late start time both teams provided good energy throughout the game. The Lakers squad was all over London early on with several great scoring opportunities before London took some wind from our sails midway through the period when they converted on a scrum in front of the net. The Lakers continued to play hard; out shooting the Knights over the course of the game but unable to dig deep enough to find the back of the net.

Midway through the third the Lakers adjusted their forecheck and increased their scoring opportunities but did not take advantage of those opportunities and London scored again at the 3 minute mark of the third to take a 2-0 lead. Intense pressure in the last two minutes in London's end with the extra attacker and the goalie pulled failed to get a marker on the board and London managed an empty netter to take a deceiving 3-0 win away on the night.

In the first three games despite having numerous scoring opportunities we have not had the bounces, we hope to create some luck in time to regain control of this series.

The Lakers squad now has their backs up against the wall down 5 points to 1. The Lakers need a win Saturday at 2:30 in Wingham to keep the series alive.
