A tremendous season including a tournament win and an Eastern Division championship came to a close this weekend as the London Knights eliminated the Lakers Minor Bantams and their bid to the Finals.
The Lakers battled a terrific series with game one being dropped in overtime on a 1-0 loss, game two was another heartbreaker with a 2-1 loss. And the final game of the season was a 4-1 loss with one goal being an empty netter. A very close series has brought the Minor Bantam season to an abrupt end. The Lakers closed out the season with a terrific 34-11-12 record. Year after year the '94 Lakers have demonstrated top four honors and will continue to seek the designation Alliance Champions.
Many thanks to the coaching staff and support staff, it takes many people to make this experience great and this team is fortunate to have many of those great people. Many thanks also to the players that provided us with sixty terrific games of viewing pleasure and represented our organization so admirably.
