The Minor Midgets are off to the Ajax/Pickering Raiders Tournament this weekend following their successful exhibition play.
They rounded out their exhibition play with a 6-4 win over Lambton last Wednesday night. Their previous meeting with Lambton this year resulted in a 6-2 win. The Minor Midgets also had a home and home series with the Grey Bruce Highlanders. They lost their first meeting with this team 6-4 but they were able to give their special teams a lot of practice. Their final meeting with Grey Bruce was a hard fought game but the Lakers were able to come out on top with a 2-1 win.
