Jack Chaffe Returns Behind the Bench to Coach the '97 Major Peewees
The Huron-Perth Lakers are pleased to announce that Jack Chaffe will be coaching the 2009-10 Major Peewee Lakers.
A resident of the Mitchell Area, Jack served as Head Coach for the Huron-Perth Lakers “97” Minor and Major Atom seasons before returning to lead the '97s into their Major Peewee year. Jack has over 20 years of coaching experience at a variety of levels including the Huron-Perth Lakers, Mitchell Minor Hockey from Novice to Midget (including capturing an OMHA championship in Midget) and with the Jr. “D” Mitchell Hawks where his team captured “Back to Back” OHA Championships.
Jack has been a member of the Huron-Perth Lakers Executive the past 2 years including sitting as the Hockey Operations Chairperson this past season.
Jack believes the key to success is through DEDICATION, DESIRE AND DISCIPLINE ( the 3 D's ). Jack considers himself as a Coach to be both a skills teacher and a motivator.
At the Major PeeWee level, Jack's main team goal is developing solid individual skills to help in the continuing development of team play.
