Team Personnel, Roster, Minor Midget, 2009-10 (Huron Perth Lakers)

A resident of Blyth, Chris is an intermediate level coach with 10+ years coaching experience. A "veteran" Lakers coach, Chris has been involved with both the 1990 and 1991 age groups previously as well as being an Assistant Coach with the 93 Minor Midget program in the '08-09 season. Chris also has experience in the Jr. C level with the Wingham Ironmen.

Chris brings a very structured approach with an emphasis on team work, conditioning, discipline and player development (both on and off ice) as these are all important aspects to helping the team reach its common goal.

Chris is looking forward to this important and challenging upcoming season and is highly committed to a successful program for these OHL Draft eligible 1994 players.

Kevin has a depth of coaching experience having coached three teams in the Lakers organization, including this 1993 age group from November to the conclusion of the season when they were Minor Bantam age.

He also brings experience as both a parent of a player who has passed through the Minor Midget transition year between minor and junior hockey and as a former Junior C General Manager. His experience is backed up with his extensive hockey knowledge and no-nonsense approach.

Kevin is determined to establish a quality hockey program for the Minor Midget players as they enter their OHL draft year.
