Minor Atoms Back On The Winning Side!
After a weekend in T O where goals were hard to come by the team managed to get back on track against the Brantford 99ers.

The boys came out strong with every line working hard and playing in Brantford's end of the rink. At 7:13 of the 1st, Maxim Mulder made some nice moves on a rush up the ice taking the play right to the net where he would score unassisted to give the Lakers a 1-0 lead. Then 2 minutes late, Sam Dupuis was sent in all alone and he would find the back of the net to give the boys a 2-0 lead at the end of the 1st period.

Brantford would get 1 in the second to get within 1.

2-1 Lakers heading into the 3rd and both teams slowing up a little but the Lakers would find the twine once more on a shot from the point by Joshua Zelek with traffic in front to give the team a 3-1 lead. The 99ers would add 1 more and were unable to even pull the goalie in the last 2 minutes as the Lakers pressed hard, not letting them out of their own end. Great job guys!

Owen Hahn played a great game between the pipes for the win!

The Lakers will now have a weekend off and play their next game Dec. 3rd in Hensall vs Elgin Middlesex Chiefs.
