Minor Peewees earn 3 of 4 points on the Weekend
On Saturday, December 3, 2011, the Lakers travelled to Brantford to face the 99ers, leaving in a 1-1 tie.

On Sunday, December 4, 2011 the Lakers hosted the Sun County Panthers in Stratford, skating away with a 8-4 win.

The Lakers and 99ers traded scoring opportunities throughout the entire game on Saturday.  The sole Laker goal was scored short handed after Owen Gilhula set up Kaleb Pearson, who took a nice snap shot burying the puck in the 99ers net.  Unfortunately, the Lakers let down their guard allowing the 99ers to score with just over 1 minute left on the clock, where the game remained at a 1-1 tie.

The following day the Lakers came out strong and with vengeance in their eyes after having lost to Sun County in their last league game.
Scoring for the Lakers were Pearson with the hat trick, Bayden Parent (2), Brady Hinz (2) and Gilhula.  Assists were awarded to:  Gilhula (2), Trent Buchanan, Cameron Hanson, Hinz and AP Cody Camm.
Despite the number of penalties the team encountered the Lakers not only managed to successfully kill off their penalties but took advantage of the opponents, scoring 3 of their goals short-handed!

Also wanting to take this opportunity to thank all of the AP players who have come out to assist the Minor PeeWee team while teammates are recovering from injuries.
