Minor Atoms Fall Short in Game 2
Written by Chris Holloway

The HP lakers lost game 2 of their semi-final playoff series, 3-1 to the Hamilton Huskies at home Sunday. The Lakers came out flat and could not muster any sort of a consistent attack in the penalty-filled affair. Luke deVries briefly had the Lakers up 1-0 early in the 3rd when he scored on the PP with assists to Sam Sedley and Logan Harmer. However that lead was short-lived as Hamilton scored 2 quick PP goals of their own and also added an insurance marker with just a few minutes left in the game.

The Lakers now face 2 must win games next weekend if they want to extend their season to the playoff finals.
