Welcome Merlin Malinowski, our new Major Bantam Coach and HPL Head Coach of Skills Development !
The Huron Perth Lakers are excited to welcome Merlin Malinowski of St. Mary's to our Major Bantam program as Head Coach and to our organizational program as Head Coach of Skills Development.
Merlin has been coaching for over 20 years at various levels including Swiss National League, OHL, GOJHL and Ontario AAA.
With 13 years of pro playing experience including 5 years in the NHL and 8 years in the Swiss National League as well as a Proud Member of our 1988 Olympic Hockey "Team Canada", Merlin will bring a wealth of hockey knoweldge and experience to our club. His passion for developing player and teams skills is well know in the region and the Huron Perth Laker Hockey Program will benefit from this by way of an organizational integrated skills program lead by Merlin and made available to all members throughout the season.
