TWO MORE WINS EXTEND STREAK TO FOUR
The Major Atoms recorded a pair of victories on the weekend , over Hamilton on the road , and  rival Waterloo at the Allman on Sunday afternoon, to continue there march up the standings in a very competitive division raising there league record to 7-2-1.

On Saturday night in Hamilton to play the Huskies , Patrick Holloway scored a pair of goals to build an early 2-0 lead, then road the goaltending of Kyle Powers to a 2-1 victory. Izac Blum , and Tanner Dietz both set up Holloway for his pair of goals in the game. The next day, at the Allman arena in Stratford against rival Waterloo Wolves, Camden Daigle opened the scoring 3:43 into the game on a feed from Dietz to build an early lead , but Waterloo responded 50 seconds later , to tie the game. With 5:43 remaining in the first on a 5-3 pp , Sam Sedley's blast off the post from the point off a pass from Dietz gave the Lakers the lead , and proved to be the game winner. Midway through the second period , Seaforth native Cole Melady scored on the pp again taking a pass from Dietz, making it 3-1 heading to the third period.
Some excellent penalty killing and 5-5 play the rest of the way , and Aaron Waugh coming up with some timely saves allowed the Lakers to hold the Wolves off the score sheet the rest of the way. With 4:17 remaining Daigle scored his second of the day from Dietz, and Devries to make the final 4-1. Dietz finished the game setting up all four goals .  The defence of Sedley , Devries, Aiden McMann, Maverick Mulder, and Jack Stecho, Wade Robinson all played a strong game on Sunday.
The team will prepare this week for the Shanahan Warrior Tournament, with the top teams from across Ontario and the U.S. will come together at the Power Aid Center in Brampton beginning Friday , as 40 teams will vie for this prestigious tournament . The Lakers will face Brampton 45's at 12:55 Fri, and top ranked Toronto Titans at 5:15 . Then Saturday , play Peterborough Petes 9:15am. and North Jersey Avalanche 3:55pm.
