TECH BLEND – BLACK – Your color for success Black is our business, and it’s been our only business since Tech Blend began operations in 1999 Our Full Menu Tech Blend serves up a complete menu of standard and specialty black concentrates for the plastics industry in North America and worldwide. Tech Blend’s portfolio of master batch products offers a wide selection of blacks providing optimum performance and quality in jetness, undertone, tint, and gloss. The carbon black we add to various polyolefin based resins, is the most cost effective manner to protect products from degradation due to exposure to ultra-violet light. Ultra-violet light over time can degrade polymers, fading color and making the product brittle. In other colors, expensive light-stable pigments and UV stabilizers must be added to provide similar protection levels. In addition to our line of materials produced with prime carriers, Tech Blend has several general purpose grades incorporating re-cycled materials. These grades offer an economic choice while still offering the full benefits provided by the carbon black and assist customers to meet sustainability program goals demanded by the market. ×
