Minor atom Lakers grab 3 of 4 points
The minor atom Lakers grabbed 3 of a possible 4 points on the weekend to improve to 6-1-1 in the regular season.  Saturday they traveled to Hamilton in an afternoon contest and came away with a hard earned point, as the teams played to a 2-2 tie.  The Lakers held a 2-1 lead at the half way point of the third, then a parade to the sin bin left the Lakers to kill a 6 minute 5 on 3 situation.  The penalty killing of the Lakers held up as they killed off the entire Hamilton power play.  With four minutes remaining Hamilton was able to slide one in and draw even on the power play. On Laker Day the minor atoms hosted

Windsor to kick off the day. With the Lakers trailing 3-1 at one point, the Lakers evened the game heading into the third all knotted at 3. Four minuted into the third the Lakers grabbed the lead and never looked back as they would score two more times and secure a 6-3 win.
The Minor Atom Lakers travel to Budweiser Gardens this Saturday to battle the 99ers from Brantford then return home to face the Wolves from Waterloo on Sunday in Goderich.
