Minor Atom Lakers go undefeated in last 4
The Minor Atom Lakers traveled to Budweiser Gardens on Saturday afternoon to take on the 99ers from Brantford for the second meeting between the two clubs. The contest turned into a back and forth affair with both teams producing some good chances at both ends.  With both teams locked in at 2-2 after 2, the Lakers were able to put away the eventual winner with 8 minutes to go in the third on a big effort play to send the Lakers home with the win. For sole possession of second place as both teams came into this game with identical records of 7-1-1. The Lakers came out strong and ended the first with a 1-0 lead. The Wolves were able to push one across in the second and that is how the game would end in a 1-1 tie. This weekend the Lakers travel to London on Saturday and host Chatham-Kent on Sunday in Goderich.
