Major Peewees Travel to Hamilton to Face the Huskies
The Lakers gave up a short handed goal in the first period but picked up their game in the second and third against the Huskies .
At the start of the second the Lakers would go on the power play , Callan Ferguson would pass to Zac McCann who would do the give and go with Sheldon Pryce and score to tie the game at 1. The Huskies would regain the lead until the end of the second , Lakers on the power play again , McCann to Pryce down low who would then pass to Aly McLeod who was right on the back door to score and tie the game at 2 , (text book ). In the 3rd period with chances at both ends , the Lakers would give up 2 power play goals and lose another close one 4 - 2.
Great effort on the back end by Jack Robinson , Connor Aarts , Kayden Schooley , Tate Gaylor & Cal Ferguson , Hardy Westman between the pipes.
Keep working hard Lakers , the wins will come as we are starting to see a more consistent effort by all .
