Major Midget Update & News
The Huron Perth Lakers are  proud to have hosted yet another successful Early Identification Camp for all eligible zone Midget players this past April 28th. The parent and player meeting and Q/A with Lakers Head Coach Terry McCutcheon & special guests from Alliance Hockey and Listowel Cyclones provided valuable insight for players as they move forward into next level hockey.

The Huron Perth Lakers would like to recognize and thank Ray Kosumovic from Alliance Hockey, Jason Brooks / Head Coach Listowel Cyclones, & Lakers Alumnus Jesse Cole / Assistant Coach Listowel Cyclones for their invaluable participation in our off ice and on ice presentation. We trust all players and parents are better prepared for the experiences and decisions they will have to make over the next few months.

In addition to our ID Camp, preparation for summer ID Skates and Fall Try Outs have been made. Please see our Team Website for registration & scheduling dates and times. All our ID Skates will have on ice experienced instructors to ensure high speed tempo and skill development throughout the summer in preparation for fall tryouts.

The 2016/17 Major Midgets program is also excited to announce their early acceptance to two Major Midget Showcase Tournaments this Fall and Winter. Soon after the team is officially made we will be attending the 4th Annual Toronto Titans "International Prospects" Tournament, September 22nd thru 25, followed by our Alliance Midget Showcase in Brantford, October 1st & 2nd and the highly anticipated Hill Academy's 4th Annual "BarDown" Classic December 1st thru 4th.

Be sure to visit our website, schedules frequently to stay informed about our midget hockey program all summer long. Be sure to register for all events if you have not done so.
