First Regular Season Game
Sunday, September 17th, 2017 - The Lakers began their season going head to head with the Kitchener Jr Rangers at Sportsworld Arena.



The Lakers begin their season going head to head with the Kitchener Jr Rangers. The first period was evenly matched and Carter Beddow played well keeping the score at zeros. 

The second period began and both teams fought to be the first to score. Chase McDougall rose to the challenge and scored the first goal 8 minutes into the second (unassisted). The Rangers responded and scored three quick goals. The second period ends in a 3-1 lead for the Rangers.

The third started rough and the Rangers scored a quick one off the hop making it 4-1. The Rangers took two penalties and Owen Chambers was able to score increasing it to 4-2 (unassisted). Nine minutes left in the third, Rangers score again making it 5-2. Lakers increased their defence and held the Rangers, but two minutes left in the third the Rangers manage to score again. Final score 6-2.
