HPL Minor Atoms win Richard Bell Memorial Tournament! - Oakville, ON

Our team's success was achieved by way of each individual sacrificing for the betterment of their teammates, pushing in the same direction for a common goal.  The journey was started on August 13, 2018 and has been comprised of 35 workouts, 45 practices, and 50 games… all including great tests from within.

Pure consistent success is not achieved overnight; but rather by sticking to a monotonous long term plan/path.
Our young men should be proud of the following tournament stats:

1.  Tournament Goals Allowed (7 Games Played)  - 8 Goals
2.  Team Shutouts - 2
3.  Shots Against - 88 Total.  13 Shots/Game Average
4.  Blocked Shots - 57 Total.  13 Blocked Shots in the Final Game
5.  Come from Behind Victories - 2 Games
6.  Successful PK’s - 100% Efficiency.  20 of 20 PK’s Nullified

Congratulations not only to the players themselves, but also to the parents that sacrifice their time and energy, week after week. Further, the coaching staff comprised of Derrick Leenders (Associate Coach), Mitch deBoer (Assistant Coach/Trainer), Jeff Gole (Goalie Coach), Marty Debruyn (Assistant Coach), Jeff Kerslake (Assistant Coach/Stats) as well as Jill Kerslake (Manager), Steve Phillips (Video), and Steve Chaput (Stats) have been an unbelievable foundation, allowing an opportunity of positive development for the boys.
Without the described, there would be no journey.  Ultimately, it was a great growth experience for our players, and will be a significant factor in achieving both individual and team success in the future. They played for each other.
