Super Saturday Gold Medal Round
Congratulations to the Toronto Young Nationals, your 2014 All-Ontario Bantam AAA Championship Team!
Saturday afternoon was nothing short of an action packed day with the provinces best teams on the ice for their last game of the season.

By two o'clock Saturday afternoon the Arena facility staff had the Allman ice flooded and ready for the anticipated Gold Medal match up between Toronto and Quinte. This game had been described as one of the best match ups all season let alone the Championship Tournament. Toronto had already beat Quinte in the preliminary round however Quinte was prepared and waiting for a rematch.

Quinte opened up the scoring with Brady Gilmour assisted by Keegan Ferguson early into the first period with Toronto responding  soon after with a short handed goal by Alexander Formenton unassisted to tie the game. In the 2nd Period the only goal came from Kody Clark assisted by Declan Graham and Nicolas Hatzikiriakos. From there both teams battled endlessly back and forth with great scoring chances at both ends. With over 500 people in attendance the energy in the Allman was at its peak. People were already imagining an exciting overtime to cap off the tournament. Quinte down only one goal pressed in the 3rd and pulled their goalie. Toronto wasted very little time and near solidified their Championship when  Bradley Cocca  found the empty net assisted by Zachary Jackson. To ensure victory CJ Clarke added another empty netter with Cocca assisting this time.

All finalist teams exemplified intense competition relentless work ethic and true sportsmanship to the enjoyment off all those in attendance on Super Saturday. A true testament of their sportsmanship was displayed by both competing teams when they agreed to a timeless  championship group photograph with all players proudly wearing their medals. I can assure you these players will be talking about their experience playing with and against the best players in the province underneath the lofty rafters of the Historic Allman Arena for years to come.

Thank you to all participants, families, volunteers and spectators for making this 2014 All Ontario Bantam AAA Championship a overwhelming success for all involved.

Ontario Hockey has never been better!

With his nutrition background and a team of reputable scientists, they formulated a safe and high-calibre supplement solely to maximize training & performance of Professional and Olympic athletes. Born was a quick-absorbing formula using a precise ratio of amino acids, electrolytes, organic minerals and B vitamins to fuel the body and fight exhaustion - helping exercise enthusiast maintain energy and focus every time they were active.
