Garrett James, a member of the Huron Perth Lakers Minor Midget team, recently returned with an Olympic bronze medal from the first Youth Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck, Austria with a 7-5 victory over U.S.A. The Huron Perth Minor Midgets opened the playoffs on the weekend against the Windsor Jr. Spitfires. The Lakers had not played for almost three weeks after having a bye in the first round. Windsor eliminated the Elgin Middlesex Chiefs to advance against the Lakers. Read More
