As we continue to search out ways to improve our overall hockey program & offer value added services to our players, we didn’t need to look any further then an individual very familiar with the Lakers organization to compliment our Development Staff.
For several years Grant Hernden was an integral part of our program while providing the Fitness & Nutrition module to our young athletes. That is why we are very pleased to announce that Grant has rejoined the Lakers staff as our Nutrition Consultant.
Grant will be conducting our Sports Nutrition Seminars at the 2nd Annual Lakers Orientation Day on August 25th. The goal of the seminars is to assist our players in making the correct lifestyle choices required to compete at the ‘AAA’ level. Recently, Grant had the opportunity to attend a conference where a seminar providing the latest information available on youth nutrition was offered & he is excited to share this information with our athletes.
