Lakers down Brantford
On Sunday, September 28 the Minor Atom Lakers hosted Brantford which was the first meeting between the two clubs. The Lakers were strong out of the gate and never trailed throughout the game downing Brantford 4-2. Again the Lakers ran into some penalty trouble and leaned heavily on their special teams, which again did not let them down in the victory. The Lakers improve to 3 and 0 on the season good enough for a share of second place, trailing first place by 2 points with 3 games in hand. The Minor Atoms travel to Toronto this weekend to take part in the Toronto Junior Canadiens Cup starting Friday morning.
