The Major Peewees Have Tough Games With Brantford and Elgin , Manage to Tie Chatham
The Lakers travelled to Brantford right after the tournament win and failed to show up for this game until the 3rd period . The 99ers were all over the Lakers in this match leading 3 - 0 heading into the 3rd . Then the Lakers would take on Elgin Middlesex Chiefs . Trying hard to find some legs  , Elgin would jump out to an early 2 - 0 lead . Before the end of the 1st period though Kaden Hoggarth would find the back of the net assisted by Nolan Gagnier and Payton Kerr   to get within 1 .  The rest of the game is in the history books !

Chatham Cyclones would come to town next . The Lakers struggling with some motivation and not believing in themselves  would come out flying in this game  probably playing their best 1st period of the season , scoring 1st and grabbing their own 2 - 0 lead on goals by  Mitch LaFay  ,assisted by Eric Roes  and then Roes would score 1 on his own . The Lakers would take their foot off the gas in the 2nd and by the end of 2 Chatham would come back and tie the game at 2 . In the 3rd we go  at 9:01  Blake Wideman with some shifty moves would score to give the Lakers a 3 - 2 lead assisted by Nolan Gagnier . The Peewees battling hard trying to hang on for the victory , with .50 seconds left the Cyclones would tie the game and the final score would be 3 - 3 . A much needed point for the Lakers but they deserved the win .
