Jacobs Named To All-Star Team

Zach Jacobs of the HPL Minor Bantams was named to a 6 player All-Star Team as a defenseman Oct. 23rd at the Peterborough Ice Fest Tournament.
This was a great honour for Zach as the selection was compiled by OHL scouts that watched games throughout the tournament. Zach attributes his success to the strong teamwork of his teammates as they backed one another up throughout the tournament. The HPL Minor Bantams went 3 and 1 in round robin play; Team Comcast 4–2 (coached by Keith Primeau), Upper Canada Cyclones 4–2, Markham Majors 1–2, Peterborough Petes 5–0 and were edged out of the tournament by Markham Majors 3-2 in the quarter final game.
Very strong effort put forth by the entire HPL team at the tournament.
