Its finally here!! The moment that we've all been anxiously waiting for... The beginning of the 2010 All-Ontario Peewee 'AAA' Championship. 

After 7 months of games, practices & tournaments, the Players, parents and friends of the Championship teams from across the Province started filing into hotels in Stratford & St. Marys today in anticipation of the opening faceoff tomorrow morning.

The opening game features the GTHL Champions- Toronto Marlboros against the Alliance Champions- Sun County Panthers at 9am Monday morning at the Pyramid Centre in St. Marys. The Host Lakers will take to the ice in Game 2 at 11am against the HNO Champions- Northwestern Ontario All-Stars. The Kingston Junior Frontenacs (OMHA), Gloucester Rangers (ODHA) and Nickel City Sons (NOHA) will also join the party in round robin action Monday with preliminary games finishing up Thursday afternoon.

The top four teams will advance to play in the semifinals on Friday, with the bronze-medal game on Saturday morning at 11am, and the gold-medal game to follow at 2 p.m.

Former Stratford Culliton Chris Pronger (Philadephia Flyers) & Waterloo Siskin Ryan Parent (Philadelphia Flyers) are graduates of the NWO All-Stars program. Former St. Marys Lincoln John Tripp (L.A. Kings) played for the Jr. Frontenacs.

Events:
- The Opening Ceremonies are scheduled for tomorrow night @7pm followed by the Huron Perth Lakers vs. Nickel City Sons.
- The Championship Banquet is scheduled for 6pm on Thursday Apr 8th. If you would like tickets, please contact [email protected] or visit the Tournament Office located at the Pyramid Centre.
- Snap Shot Photography will be onsite offering action shots for the duration of the Championship.
