The tournament format will be as follows, as dictated by the official 2008 All-Ontario Bantam Championship Rules & Regulations, Section #7, 8, and 9.
Game Length
The length of games will be three (3) fifteen (15) minute stop time periods. The ice will be re-surfaced before the game as well as between the 2nd and 3rd periods.
Round Robin
The teams will play a single round robin series. Two (2) points will be awarded for a win and one (1) point will be awarded for a tie. Overtime will not be played during the round robin schedule.
Playdowns
At the completion of the round-robin schedule, the first and fourth place teams will play in a semi-final game, while the second and third place teams will play in another semi-final game. The winners of the semi-final games will advance to the Championship Game. The two teams that were defeated in the semi-final games will advance to the Bronze Medal Game.
