Executive Redefines Coaching Selection Process
As our teams are diving into the most exciting time of year, their playoffs, the executive is busying itself with the coach selection process. There are some facts regarding this process that are important for parents to know.

In previous years the coaching selection process was overseen and administered by the operations committee, a committee comprised of executive members. The problem or potential for problems arose with a committee made up of coaches and parents of players heavily involved in the coaching selection process. This year in an effort to remove biases and make the process as transparent as possible a Coaches Selection Committee, made up of non Laker, experienced hockey individuals has been created. This committee's mandate will be to interview the applying candidates, determine the best fit for each team and present their recommendations to the executive. We as an executive are very proud of the committee that will be so generously donating their time, and appreciate that their involvement will make our organization even stronger. This years coaching committee.
