Lakers Awarded 07-08 Bantam AAA Ontario Championships
The Huron Perth Lakers have been awarded the All-Ontario AAA Bantam Championship tournament for the 2007/2008 season. The tournament will feature the best hockey the province has to offer at the Major Bantam age and will take place next March 24-29th in Stratford at the newly built twin pad arena.

The All-Ontario Championships pit the top teams from the OMHA, ALLIANCE Hockey, GTHL, NOHA, ODHA, and HNO against each other in a tournament format to crown the top team in the province: the All Ontario Champions.

The Lakers were recognized in their notification letter as having had a very strong presentation bid led by Steve McIver and Head Coach of the Major Bantams, Shaun Peet. The strength our 1993 age group as demonstrated over the last several years was integral in the decision since, as the host, this team is automatically admitted to this very elite event.

Mark your calendars now! If you enjoy watching the future stars of our country's national game then make sure you are in attendance next March!
