The Huron Perth Lakers U14's are Great Lakes Cup Champions!
The Huron Perth Lakers U14 team attended our own Great Lakes Cup Tournament in Stratford over the weekend.
The team came out of round robin play 1st in their division with a record of 3-0-1. Sudbury Wolves 3-2, Grey Bruce Highlanders 6-0, Barrie Jr Colts 3-2 and Central Ontario Wolves 2-2.
After a period and a half of semi-final play, the boys found themselves down 2-0. They followed up with 4 goals ending with a final score of 4-2 against Barrie Jr Colts.
The Championship game against Sudbury Wolves ended with a 4-1 win for the Lakers.
