Laker Day 2011
Submitted By Karen Vollmer on Wednesday, October 26, 2011
Saturday, October 15th, 2011 was a cool and blustery autumn day when seven of the eight Laker teams headed to Goderich to face an assortment of teams.   The lobby was hopping with various tables set up and Dunny’s Source for Sports in attendance offering a variety of Laker gear.   Snap Shot Photography was on hand as well getting lots of great shots of the players.   After a full day of hockey, hungry players were invited to Boston Pizza to receive a 15% discount.

The Lakers dominated the day chalking up four wins and 3 ties.  The game results are shown below:   Minor Atom vs. Cambridge Hawks T (4-4)   Major Atom vs. Kitchener Jr. Rangers W (7-2)   Minor PeeWee vs. Chatham-Kent Cyclones W (6-0)   Major PeeWee vs. Hamilton Reps T (0-0)   Minor Bantam vs. Waterloo Wolves T (2-2)   Major Bantam vs. Waterloo Wolves W (3-2)   Minor Midget vs. Hamilton Reps W (3-0)
