Spend Family Day @ Laker Day at the Culliton's!

All Huron Perth Laker hockey teams and their families are encouraged to come out on Monday February 17, 2014 at 2 p.m. to the Allman Arena when the Stratford Culliton’s face off against the Listowel Cyclones for the annual Laker Day at the Culliton’s.  Please wear your Laker windsuits.

         Since 1996, the Huron Perth Lakers hockey organization has served minor hockey players from Huron, Perth and surrounding counties by offering AAA level hockey.  From a fledgling organization seventeen years ago to a well-recognized respected development program, the Huron Perth Lakers are now known as leaders and innovators.  As a result, we are able to attract the most dedicated and skilled players and coaches.

 On Monday, February 17, 2014 the annual Laker Day at the Culliton’s will take place as they face off against the Listowel Cyclones.  There are several players on both teams who are Laker alumni and who will be recognized and introduced publicly.  From the visiting team former Laker alumni consist of;

In 2007/08 the Huron Perth Lakers added the Major Midget program as a development team for players to go onto careers in Junior Hockey and beyond.  Since then 41 players have moved up the ranks and on Family Day the following coaches will be recognize and thanked publicly for their dedication to the Major Midget program; Dave Schlitt, Chad Smalley, Greg Barclay, Jeff Carr, Brent Powers, Steve McIver, Jim Martin, Gary Marks, Vlasis Aroutzidis and current coach Nathan Herrington.  A special presentation will be made to the founder and driving force behind the Major Midget program, Mr. Nick Aroutizidis.
