Preston International Hockey Tournament FINALIST
Congratulations boys on becoming the 2016 Atom AAA Finalists at the Preston International Hockey Tournament in Cambridge January 14-17.
After round robin play the boys finished in 4th place, advancing them to the semi finals on Sunday morning against the 1st place team Mississauga Rebels. With a lot of drive and heart the boys came out on top with a 1-0 win advancing them to the FINALS. The championship game was played in Preston against the Soo Greyhounds. The boys continued working hard, passing, shooting and working as a team. As a result, at the end of regulation time it was tied 1-1. The game went to overtime and the Soo Greyhounds won 2-1.
The boys and coaching staff should be commended on all their hard work and determination. They played incredible hockey and earned those trophies. You made all of your parents very proud. CONGRATS!!
