Kevin Meriam Named Minor Bantam Coach
Submitted By tgoetz on Sunday, November 26, 2006
The Huron Perth Lakers are pleased to announce that Kevin Meriam has accepted the position of Head Coach for the Minor Bantam team for the remainder of the 06/07 Season. Kevin played Jr B snd Senior hockey and brings many years of coaching experience to the role, as well as past GM of the Goderich Jr. C's

The Minor Bantams are presently ranked 19th in North America, and are on a tear in league play this season with 10 wins and 3 losses to date. Their new coach Kevin Meriam will have some challenges ahead as they have a roster of 12 skaters and 2 goalies at present and have yet to be hit by the injury bug plaguing many of our Laker teams this season. Their performance of late speaks volumes about this teams attitude and strength as they have maintained their performance even with a short bench.
