The Huron-Perth Lakers Executive Committee has made a decision to cancel the 2021-22 end of year banquet.
Many factors went into this decision, including:
- Extension of Alliance season due to COVID-19
- Multiple teams qualifying for OHFs, playing until April 15th
- Spring tryouts starting on April 25th
- Body-Checking clinics starting April 22nd
- Ensuring players remain healthy for 2022-23 tryouts
While we understand many look forward to this event, we felt it was best to ensure our families, coaches, and players have time to mentally reset and prepare for the 2022-23 tryout process.
The Executive Committee plans to hold a banquet after the 2022-23 season, provided no unforeseen circumstances interfere with such an event.
