Rob Wiffen to Coach the '94 Lakers Major Bantams for the 2008-09 Season
Submitted By cmetzger on Tuesday, March 4, 2008
The Huron-Perth Lakers are pleased to announce that the coach of the 2008-09 Major Bantam (1994 birth year) team is Rob Wiffen from St. Marys.

Rob is just finishing up his second year with the Lakers organization. In his first year, he was an Assistant Coach for this 1994 age group. Rob has several years of experience coaching older boys as both a non-parent and parent coach. The teams he has been involved with have had very high achievement rates, including several OMHA championships.

Rob stresses the importance of team play, hard work, discipline, and respect with his players and emphasizes skill development, both on and off the ice, in assisting players “to step their game up to the next level.” Rob also hopes that each of next year’s Major Bantam players will continue on the path of becoming well respected individuals and good role models in their communities.

Rob can be reached at home (519-284-2806) or by email ([email protected]).
