All-Ontario Bantam AAA Championships a Resounding Success!
Submitted By cmetzger on Tuesday, April 1, 2008
Congratulations to Steve McIver and the Tournament Organizing Committee as well as all the volunteers who made last week's All-Ontario Bantam AAA Championships such a resounding success.

Special thanks goes to Steve McIver, Tournament Committee Chair for his leadership and tireless efforts in getting such a well organized tournament together. Steve was ably supported by the rest of the hard-working Committee members:
    Pat Hinnegan
    Roger Cowing
    Lisa McIver
    Jon Dalby
    Tracy Meurs
    Matt McCann

The entire committee needs to be commended for the effort, time & dedication they put into the success of the Championship. On top of the Committee was the hours put in by our team parents & volunteers. Plus- Jill White donated her time to make sure BladeNet was updated after every game & completed the game sheets; Dennis Knox helped out every day & was a huge benefit as he covered the majority of the games as the timekeeper; Mich Landry also helped out on multiple days & a thank you has to go out to the Stratford Referee Association for providing the Goal Judges for the Semi-Finals & Medals games. But most of all, thank you has to go to all our sponsors for supporting the event.

Many positive comments regarding the tournament were heard from the representatives of the other hockey organizations in attendance, both teams and dignitaries, regarding the high standard this tournament has set for future tournaments

Thanks to everyone involved in making this tournament such a success. You've done the Lakers proud.PeeWee_Bantam_Summer_Workout_2007.pdf
