Lakers secure services of cutting edge Skills Instructor

As part of our commitment to provide a developmental edge to our players & families, the Huron Perth Lakers are pleased to announce the addition of Andy Paquette to our development staff as our Skills Development Consultant.

Andy is the Owner/Head Instructor of Powerpoint Performance Hockey- which is a leader in the training of advanced hockey skills and widely acknowledged as a top notch program for elite athletes.


Specializing in high intensity drills for skating, stickhandling, shooting and passing, Andy will help provide our players with a competitive edge. His expert instruction will assist our Coaches in achieving the maximum performance needed for success on the ice & to help ensure our players develop with a solid foundation to build from.


With the assistance from the Coaching staffs, Andy will be conducting on-ice skills clinics for all Lakers teams at our 2nd Annual Lakers Orientation Day scheduled for Monday August 25th in St. Marys & will be conducting several additional skills clinics throughout the season.

- Played 4 years in the OHL for the Sudbury Wolves and Hamilton Steelhawks
- International playing experience at the World Under 17 Championships
- Variety of coaching experience including the Sudbury Wolves of the OHL
- 12 years head instructor of Sports North Hockey
- Specializes in stick handling, power skating, team concepts
