Adam Gibb Returns to Huron Perth Lakers as Head Coach of U14 AAA Team
A Stratford native, Adam developed through the Stratford and Lakers programs before playing four years of junior hockey, including attending the Sarnia Sting training camp.
Adam brings over six years of coaching experience within the Lakers organization. He was part of a highly successful 2009 group that captured an All-Ontario AAA Championship (2022), went undefeated in Alliance play, competed at the Quebec International Peewee Tournament, and won a U16 AAA International Silver Stick Championship (2024). That same group saw 10 players selected in the OHL Draft, highlighting a strong commitment to long-term development.
In his first season as Head Coach of the 2013 age group, Adam and his staff established a strong foundation built on development, accountability, and positive team culture. Returning for year two, he is focused on continuing to build on that momentum and elevating both individual and team performance.
Adam also contributes as an on-ice instructor with Axis Hockey Systems and has served as Head Coach for Team Alliance at the Best of the Best Series, further demonstrating his commitment to high-performance development.
