Welcome Back Darren Wideman as U15 Head Coach 2026-27
Darren Wideman joins the Huron Perth Lakers as Head Coach of the U15 AAA team. He brings over a decade of coaching experience, including roles as a Head Coach, Assistant Coach, and General Manager at the junior level.
Darren has been involved with the Lakers organization over the years, most recently with the U14 program, and previously the U16 program. His background as a junior player, combined with his leadership experience, provides a strong foundation for developing athletes at the AAA level.
In addition to hockey, Darren has competed at an elite level in fastball, earning back-to-back ISC 2 World Championships—an achievement that reflects his competitiveness and commitment to excellence.
He is focused on advancing player development while building a competitive, structured, and supportive team environment. Welcome back, Darren.
