Todd Goetz to Coach the Goderich Jr. C Sailors Next Season
The Lakers would like to congratulate Todd Goetz on his appointment as Head Coach of the Goderich Jr. C Sailors starting with the 2009-10 season.
Todd has been very involved in the Lakers organization over the last half dozen years whether at the Executive level as Hockey Operations Committee Chair, Vice-President, and President, or at the team level as a head coach for 5 years or as an assistant coach. Todd's teams have enjoyed considerable success with Todd having one of the best records of any Lakers coach.
"Todd has served the Huron-Perth Lakers very well over the years in many capacities. He has impacted our organization in a very positive way. We congratulate him on his selection to coach the Goderich Sailors and we know he will be successful given the energy and commitment he brings," commented Lakers' President Hugo Maaskant on Todd's appointment.
Todd's infectious enthusiasm and motivational skills combined with his hockey knowledge and coaching ability will be a great asset to the Sailors' organization and the entire Lakers family wishes him success.
