Introducing Dawson Smith, our Minor Bantam Coach for 2012-2013
Submitted By kvollmer on Tuesday, March 13, 2012
A warm welcome goes out to our 2012-2013 Minor Bantam Coach, Dawson Smith!

A resident of Monkton, Ontario, Dawson spent four years playing with the Huron Perth Lakers.  Following his minor hockey, Dawson played five years of Junior Hockey with the Wingham Ironmen and the Listowel Cyclones, winning a league championship with the Listowel Cyclones.

The last two years Dawson has been the assistant coach of the 99 Lakers.  Dawson has gained great knowledge throughout his hockey career as well as during his two years of coaching and is always learning and trying to better himself as a student of the game. Dawson believes that the keys to a team’s success will be strong commitment, discipline, work ethic and focus. This includes all on and off ice team activities as well as demonstrating to the the team that a “team first” play will bring both team and individual success. All of this being accomplished at a fast hard pace while also having fun!

Welcome aboard Dawson!
