ALLIANCE Hockey to Host Officials' Program of Excellence in Conjunction with Great Lakes Cup
Stratford, ON - ALLIANCE Hockey will host the 2nd Annual Official's Program of Excellence in conjunction with the "Great Lakes Cup" Tournament hosted by the Huron Perth Lakers, January 18-20, 2013. The Program will provide an opportunity for the best up-and-coming Officials to work with their peers from across ALLIANCE Hockey and learn from some of the best officiating minds in Hockey Canada.
"The Great Lakes Cup is a perfect fit for our Program of Excellence", said ALLIANCE Hockey Technical Director of Officials, Marshall Copp. "This event will provide a high caliber of hockey that will support the POE and the Officials who are dedicated to improving their skills and working towards higher levels of hockey."
About the Great Lakes Cup
Inspired by the successful hosting of the "Nations Cup" held in January 2011 in the City of Stratford, the Huron Perth Lakers AAA Hockey Association is proud to host the 2013 Great Lakes Cup. The Great Lakes Cup will be held January 18-20, 2013 in Stratford, Ontario and will showcase some of the best talent at the AAA Minor Peewee and AAA Minor Bantam Divisions in North America. Each team is guaranteed four round robin games and the event will feature some of the best officiating in the area.
