This past Sunday afternoon our Minor Midget team was officially invited to the Ontario Hockey Leagues 2013 OHL Cup Showcase Tournament, hosted by the GTHL. This marks the 2nd year in a row our Laker Program has been recognized for it season long success.
20 participating teams from minor hockey associations in Ontario including the Greater Toronto Hockey League, Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario, Ontario Minor Hockey Association, and Ottawa District Minor Hockey Association, along with a representatives from the Northern Ontario Hockey Association and Hockey Northwestern Ontario will be competing over 5 days for a chance to hoist the OHL Cup on the final tournament Sunday.
