Hi Huron Perth Laker Parents and Players

I would like to welcome you all to the Huron Perth Lakers annual Orientation Day. For those who are new to the program, Orientation Day is the official start to the 2013-14 season.

This year’s program presenters are:

·         Power Skating: Kathy McLlwain

·         Mental Preparation: Mike Brooks

·         Team Building: AJ and Jen Moses of Live Well 4 Life

·         Bullying Presentation: Mike Payne from Alliance Minor Hockey

·         Fitness: Deon Keller from Keller Fitness

Lunch will be provided for all players and will consist of buns, cold meat, veggies and muffins. If your child does not like this please pack a lunch for your child. If players want, they can also bring additional snacks and beverages.

Dunny’s Source for Sports will be available at the main entrance from 9:00 am-end of day to order equipment or Laker apparel.

To start the program we want all players to arrive at 8:20 am and place their equipment into their assigned dressing room.  Players are to wear their grey Laker t-shirt given to them at the signing day in Stratford and grey or black shorts and running shoes.

At 8:30, all players and parents (if available) are to meet in the community centre. Players and teams will be introduced and the programs will start at 9:15. Parents are encouraged to stay for team introductions but it is not mandatory. Parents are also welcome to stay for the programs and presentations; however, seating is limited in some presentations.
