Submitted By kvollmer on Wednesday, December 4, 2013

ALLIANCE Hockey is set to host the 2013 ALLIANCE Hockey Minor Midget AAA All-Star Weekend on December 7-8, 2013 in Komoka, ON.

The Huron-Perth Lakers would like to congratulate the following Laker players who have been invited to participate in the 2013 All-Star weekend:

Forwards – Josh Britton, Jacob Finlayson, Nick Jung, Jared Nash

Defence – Jon Baker, Keaton Middleton

Goaltender – Branden Bean

The weekend event will feature 64 of the top ALLIANCE Hockey Minor Midget AAA players participating in a tournament-style format, with each of the teams playing a total of 4 games.

“It will be a great experience for these players to come together over a weekend and be able to play with some of the top players in the ALLIANCE.  As part of the Hockey Canada Program of Excellence, the ALLIANCE Hockey All-Star Weekend will help to develop and prepare these players for short-term, high performance competition.  We have assembled a great group of Staff and combined with the talent on the ice, it should make for an exciting weekend of hockey,” said ALLIANCE Hockey Executive Director Tony Martindale.
